A spectacular, dazzling and memorable meal, a creative tour de force served as a three-and-a-half hour coup de theatre.  Served to 6 of us at around &pound;200 each it was expensuve, but justified itself.  The waiters are performers with a careful script and speak no English.

Auberge a la Bonne Idee

This was not just a meal but a great experience from beginning to end - each course beautifully prepared and presented.   The staff were first-rate, and the participation of the chef added to the pleasure.   Enormous effort was made to make this an unforgettable occasion.   We first visited La Bonne Id&eacute;e more than forty years ago and have been back on  numerous occasions.   Each time with added enjoyment.

We only speak a little French, but the restaurant went out of their way to make our visit welcome.  They quickly translated the menus and gave us the waiter who could speak better English than our French.  The food and service was excellent, they even created a separate menu for our 13 year old - who by likes the theatre of going to restaurants but does not always like the food. They even did her a special dish of tomatoes from their garden, which they picked whilst we were in the restaurant.The food was exceptional, sometimes interesting but that is what you want from a restaurant - you want to be excited with the food that you are having.  The food then becomes the talking point and the highlight of the evening.  We encountered a bit of magic tonight from the chef and his team, and is one of the most perfect and fun night my family has had in a long time.

Perfect food. Perfect service. Perfect ambience. Quite simply the best dining experience ever. Innovative dishes executed with skill and a theatrical flair. Extremely memorable. Merci beaucoup!!

Food is good.   Patisserie is perfect. But the service is too stressed.  To nerved and due to that we feel not ok as a customer and especially they make even more errors.  De don&rsquo;t see a while we don&rsquo;t have wine etc.  But village is extremely beautiful.   The restaurant also.   The food is 1 star but the service wants to be 3 stars and is only 0,7

The food was delicious and service very good. Some of the staff were speaking English, which was very helpful.

This restaurant has a very pleasant casual atmosphere and excellent cuisine. We had a great experience and will definitely return there.

Restaurant of the Mercure Hotel.A good welcome. A superb relaxing decor. Weaving towels. Beautiful terrace. There is a real chef here, offering beautiful dishes really well presented and tastefully mastered. This restaurant of the hotel deserves the tour. In addition, the parking is secure and free.
